Heart Tugs

I minister to a crowd of children 40-50 in a monthly ministry, but my heart is to individual children and I do speak on a 1 on 1 basis to kids ALL the time. God has called me to meet them 1 on 1. Some times I do so much administrative junk during the club meetings so that the folks will have time to minister to the kids, but they just stand around and talk to each other and I don’t get to minster one on one because I am trying to make it easy on those folks so they have time to minister to the kids but they stand around chatting amongst themselves. It will drive you nuts. I don’t have time for this foolishness.

They are kids for crying out loud how hard is it to talk to a kid about God. No wonder they don’t win adults they are afraid of kids or their heart is far from the real love of God.

There are some who step out and talk to the kids and I praise God for the few, but most of them stand around gabbing to each other. How can we win the lost doing this? They do show up for the outreach, and they do stuff but not the important stuff. Kim & I take care of all the details and plans so all they (the ministers) have to do is go
right to the Masters work. But they refuse to go and do the real ministry.

They like to say they helped because they showed up and did something. But was it effective? Did they reach a kids heart, did they communicate with kids, did they bend down and whisper I love you or shout it out loud to a kid. Did they tell a kid God loves you so much He can’t stand it some times? Did they talk to the kid as an individual and find out what they like and dislike? Did they find out how that kids family is doing?. Most of them stand around in their little circles gabbing to one another about garbage and stuff that doesn’t matter. I thought they came to minister to kids and here they are gabbing amongst them selves.
