I was reading out of Isaiah today in Chapter 33. It talked about returning to Zion and how the people would be safe once again and there would be no more tyrants over them trying to exploit them. He said they were battered and their sails torn but there is now safety in Zion. While this depicts a future event with the people of God it also is for then and a current event. He says he will kill the destroyer and do the same with the betrayer. God was stepping in and taking control and he was about shine as the noon day. WOW what a picture and what an awesome sight. He even said they would see their King coming.
