Revelation 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
So who is the Woman and where is the wilderness? Well this was a bit more tricky to navigate than I thought. Let me tell you what it isn't and that is the Birth Of Jesus and the woman is not Mary. Every preacher has said this is Jesus being born. First off it can't be Jesus because who would write a book about future events and put the main character's past at the end of the story. This makes no sense at all. Why would the writer interject the birth of Jesus when the whole book is about the FUTURE events of the life of Jesus Christ. Again makes no sense. Also the Woman as the Church doesn't work either and neither does the Woman being Israel Also John writes this after the 7th Trumpet is sounded. So all of this part happens at the 7th Trumpet. Jesus earthly visitation has come and gone by this time.
Not to mention
Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
So also consider how could this be the birth of Jesus when the last part of the chapter says they have the testimony of Jesus Christ. That would be IMPOSSIBLE!!!! He hadn't done his ministry yet, He would be a child only 2-3 years old. That age is based on the visitation of the Wise men who came when he was a child not at his birth.
There are 2 events going on in this chapter and everyone tries to make it into 1 and it just doesn't work. Lets break this down into 2 parts and look at it differently

Satan Thrown Down to Earth
Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
This is the Second time mentioned in Revelation referring to the Woman in the Wilderness. Church of First Council of Nicaea, (325) then First Christian Settlement USA The Roanoke Colony was first founded in 1585. That is 1260 Years.
The Last or 3rd time mentions a time, and times, and half a time. All this is mention in Daniel also. The 3rd time it is measured as 3.5 Years
So the Women fled into the Wilderness. So ask yourself where is the Wilderness. Also should you ask what is a Wilderness? Perhaps both questions should be ask. Lets go with 'What is a Wilderness?' While most think of the desert in this scenario there is more here. It has a meaning of remote from the habitations and the observations of people. This would represent the true church has became for a time obscure and unknown - as if it had fled away from the habitations of people, and had retired to the solitude and loneliness of a desert. Perhaps you don't find the church in a building anymore as you used to. That well could be in a sense, but I think the Wilderness is the whole USA.
Lets look at Revelation 12:15-16
12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
This is an interesting scripture. Many of those that studied it thought all this was Mary going to Egypt and the flood season is when she went there with Jesus as a baby. Some say the Women is the Church. Lets look at a Nation in which the Church lives, the USA. The flood is nothing more that a LARGE sum of water coming down upon you and overwhelming you. So what does the BIBLE say water is, and can we find a reference to it somewhere else in the Bible?
Well in Revelation 17 it tells you what water is:
Rev 17:15 The angel also said to me, "The waters you saw, on which the prostitute sits, are nations, peoples, races, and languages.
Water is people and those people are different races and languages. Now lets look at our border in the USA. It is being flooded with people of different races and languages. So if water is people of different races and languages then a FLOOD is nothing more than a LOT OF people of different races and languages. Scripture stands on scripture ALWAYS.
Also the Prostitute who were the Jewish exiles kicked out of Babylon and then disseminated all over the earth after being booted out of Babylon and are now all over the world, but HEAVILY they retreated to what is now known as Europe and it contains the lost 10 tribes of Israel. Every wondered about Jews and the United Nations.
What does that have to do with just the USA or are other countries being invaded with floods of people, you ask? Well the truth is everywhere there is a Christian nation this is happening. Look at every nation being flooded with IMMIGRANTS, thanks to the SOROS Foundation and the USA paying them to come here illegally.
Also in Deuteronomy 32:8-9 it states God divided these Nations and gave them the Nation as an inheritance.
Deuteronomy 32:8 When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the people according to the number of the sons of Israel.
Deuteronomy 32:9 For Jehovah's portion is His people. Jacob is the lot of His inheritance.
