Psalm 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
The secret of the Lord I have found today. The Lord made me read about David he said read psalms and directed me to verse 25. What a joy it was to find this verse. The secret of the LORD. How many search for a secret of God and yet come up not finding what they want…but in plain view here lies a secret for all to see. The uttermost secret of GOD
Psalm 27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
David’s heart so longs after God’s goodness and beauty. I feel like him. Not many men express their heart for God like David did and you truly don’t find many men like David either. He is a rare gem. He found secrets hidden in God that today still many people seek to find. But here is a man three thousand years ago that found God’s heart and wisdom. Where are the David’s of today? Where is the man who seeks God like him? It is in the heart that David finds God’s beauty. He loves it so much he grasps for more. Like a deer pants for water.
Psalm 27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
David was not yet out of trouble but his mind was and his faith was. He began to see that God would not let him down. He believed God. He started to sing about it he was so grateful for it…but defeat of his enemies had not actually happened yet. His faith was giving him the strength again to go forth in the power of God.
Psalm 27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
